While attending the Maison & Objet home show in Paris, we were walking through the exhibit hall and came upon Terafeu’s booth. What a fantastic find! Christine’s family has been handcrafting stellar clay cookware and serving pieces for years in the Basque village of Tilh. Christine incorporates modern shapes and colors to craft these unique pieces. Each one is hand glazed, and then kiln fired so no two pieces are the same. French cooks prefer clay cookware because the clay creates the ideal environment for your recipes. Glazed clay cooking pans and pots mean foods don’t stick. Plus, every piece is dishwasher safe. How awesome is that?
